Another "chances" thread

Sheesh, I feel like a "chances thread" whore, but I'm posting one anyway. I didn't really get much responce to the one I posted in the "what are my chances" forum, so I'll try here. Sorry if it's too much.

How're my chances at UCB? God, I wish they had an ED program. Thanks in advance to all who reply!

Thank goodness your freshman grades aren't considered...

You have a legitimate shot.. Do you have any awards/Honors or community service activities? How would you rate your course schedule- hardest possible, second tier hardest? What type of school do you go to? These are all questions that are still left unanswered, but from what I've seen so far, you've got a decent chance. Best of luck,

TTG

I do some community service through both Interact and Progressive club. I've gotten 2 metals in karate tournaments, and 2 for my journalism writing (on top of a couple of blanket awards for the paper), as well as getting an award from my school for leadership. I go to a large (1800 kids) public school. My classes have been hard, but not quite the hardest possible. In terms of humanities, yes, but I could've been a bit more advanced in terms of math and science. I'm going to be a poly sci major anyway. Thanks!

Probably 50-50 chance. Your essays will make all the difference.

Yeah, I mean, do your best representing yourself well in the app. You've certainly got the goods to fill up the spaces.

The personal statement will decide your fate...
