another CTY related thread: CTY Physics instead of AP or Hon Physics in HS?

<p>However, AP Physics B is not commonly accepted for credit at a university, regardless of major. Because it is non-calculus-based, it is best to see it as more of an honors high school physics course (indeed, some high schools just label their honors high school physics course as AP Physics B and follow that curriculum).</p>

<p>For post-calculus math, why not just take the courses at a community college, which would give real transferable college credit, and should be weighted (at least in the eyes of university admissions) as being as rigorous or more rigorous than high school honors or AP courses?</p>
