Well, here's another thread about Dorms there.
I did search, and while parts of my questions were answered, I didn't find too many specifics.

Which dorm would be the best fit for me?

-I'd like to not have to share a single bathroom with the whole floor...maybe 1 bathroom for 2 rooms max
-A/C please
-Not too disruptive all the time(though I don't see it being a huge problem anyway)

hmm..I think that's about it.
Friendly environment and stuff is always a plus, but I'd imagine that's everywhere.

Also, do you know how dorms work if you signed up for Fast Track Calculus? Do we get dorms when we go for FTC? Do we room with other FTC people?

I think the at least 5 people you’d have to share bathrooms with in the triplets (Schrapenburg , Mees and Blumberg (not sure if I’m right here)).

Those 3 should all have A/C.

If you’ve signed up for FTC…you do get your dorm spot early and I guess you do dorm with another FTCer.

For FTC you get put in Percopo, then when it’s over you move into your actual room, not necessarily with another FTCer.

Yeah, you will always be sharing your bathroom with at least 5 people (in the triplets) and maybe as many as 45 (Speed/BSB). It’s not that bad. The whole A/C thing is overrated too.

I lived in Speed for 2 years and wouldn’t trade my experience there for any other dorm.

Unsurprisingly very few people request to live in Speed or Deming (the two non-A/C’d dorms). So people always end up in there who didn’t want to be. And inevitably during move-in there’s always a couple sour grapes who are all upset about having to liv in an un-air conditioned dorm. But they get over it real quick. My advice is to hope for the best, expect the worst and make do with your situation. Have fun your freshman year because it will never get any easier for you, academics-wise.
