Hey! I'm a third year senior (yep) from TMC here to help! I have lived on campus for two years (Res Halls then Upper Apts) and will move into I House for the next year. I am an Anthro major and History minor, going to do research this year and am in many orgs and have jobs.
Any way I can help, let me know (or of course the other competent upperclassmen and graduates here)!

Hi there! Thanks for offering to help! I’m an incoming Marshallian. :]

My enrollment time is September 2, which is relatively late IMO. Do a lot of students miss out on taking DOC 1 because the class is full? What about classes that a lot of people take, like Math 10a? I’m freaked out because I don’t want to end up taking classes at weird time slots/classes I didn’t plan on taking. Ideally, I would be taking DOC 1, MATH10A, COG17 or PHYS 5 or PHYS 9, Intro to Theatre 1 or Visual Arts 22, and some political science freshman seminar.

Hahaha, I think I just need reassurance, is all. In any way possible.

No worries! The people who don’t take DOC first year are usually the people who chose not to (in my experience). The only drawback is that you probably will end up taking classes at weird times or maybe not be able to take all the classes you want. Make sure to have a plan B (and maybe plan C) schedule.

Thank you for offering your help! I was hoping to receive a double and ended up with a triple in Marshall, top bunk. Are the triples really as small as people say? And in general, how much storage space are we given? My orientation isn’t until September and I have no idea what the dorms look like…actually, I don’t have a slightest clue about anything dorm related. x__x
