i got into thurgood marshall. i just randomly chose it and forgot to choose a major too. I jsut picked that one since he was a supreme court justice ; P

ya don't know too much about marshall, just know that it was pretty science based...and not as hard as revelle so i chose it :)

Science..based? ****

I'm in biochem and cell biology as well. :D

im planning on studying econ. whoopty doo.

yea what happens if we want to change majors?..does anyone have any real info on marshall? like the dorms, food, etc

Apparently, you can do your major anywhere. The colleges just have different requirement. And I think for Marshall you take a lot of science courses....I think. The requirements are up somewhere on the site.

you guys probably have the best "college" cafeteria - OVT (oceanview terrace) because it's the only of the 6 that's open until 1 AM so everyone goes there for some midnite munchies ^.~

Have fun with DOC :) Glad to see more Biochemistry/Cell Biology majors coming in. Seems like everyone's bioengineering or human biology.

my very first post ahhh!!!

yes i got in :)

major: structural engineering

does anyone know about the campus life and the level of difficulty GE's in Marshall compared to the other schools?

o i guess biochem/cell bio isn't as well known as the other majors...like bio

prob cuz it's more specialized

you know, times like these i wish i would've done more research before arbitrarily choosing a college at SD. so, i'm a poli sci major and marshall was my first choice. i mean...poli sci major at a campus named after a supreme court justice...it seemed logical.
.....except now i'm reading this forum and i realize marshall is for science majors?
blah! :(

lol at least you got in.

Anyone else...there has to be more

major: chemistry

Thurgood Marshall isn't necessary for science majors; I picked it because I liked its educational philosophy: "Diversity, Justice, and Imagination...that regardless of a student’s major, a broad liberal arts education must include an awareness and understanding of one’s role in society."

^ brief overview of each college

is there anyone who is at marshall right now and can give us some info? thnks
