Another rescinding question

My grades sort of slipped this semester (yikes), but I managed at least C’s, except for at the end there was an error in English and my grade may have been reported as a D. Weird situation.
If I managed stellar grades first semester (~4.2) and passing grades second, and the grade does get reported as a D, how do I go about explaining this?
Thank you (:

well first thing i would do is talk to your professor asap to get your grade corrected. And say if you did end up with a D, i think that there is a high chance you would get recinded IF it is a mandatory class. i know people here have had it happen to them, because of not passing math classes, not sure how it works for english. best of luck, i really hope everything turns out well for you!

Well I already graduated (hs) and now it’s just a waiting game. I was going to email my teacher tomorrow and see what’s going on and then just wait for my grades to show up

well when i asked them about having one D they said that its done case by case and you need to go to the report grades section in my admission and in the additional comment section tell them. For me they said as long as my other grades are satisfactory its fine.

“satisfactory” as in at least C’s?

im assuming it means 3.0 unweighted gpa

It’s 3.0 weighted. And of you get a D, obviously you’re in danger of being rescinded. But if it’s a mistake, and you have your teacher correct it, then they will not rescind you.

^i see well in my case i had one D and like 4 A 1 B+ and they said the D would not have a negative effect on my admission. It was a 68% :frowning: in an AP class so that ****ed me off…one test screwed me so badly :(.
