Another stressed junior - Senior year schedule!

I absolutely adore the humanities and arts, and so far I have signed up for senior year:

AP English Lit
AP Stats
AP Environmental Sci
AP Psych
AP US history
AP Human Geo/Independent study AP art history/AP comparative govt
Senior Seminar at night(Humanities program requirement) semester 1, Creative writing semester 2

APs I'm taking this year: Calc, Eng Lang, Euro, and Studio Art

So, I'm contemplating dropping Environmental Sci for journalism. Would that be an abundance of humanities classes? I thought the overload of APs wouldn't be too bad, since they're mostly pretty easy. But after the chaos of these past few weeks of AP prep, I'm beginning to reconsider. I really hope I get independent study art history, but if I don't...I don't know, I don't really want to take Human Geography, so I might drop that for journalism.

Just, people have told me that with the senior research project for the humanities program, college apps, and everything else, my schedule seems a bit excessive. But a lot of these classes are ones that I know I will love, so I don't know what I'm looking for. Advice, I guess?

Oh, senior seminar is at night so I would have a free first period first semester, and a full schedule second semester.

Thanks

You (hopefully) won't have college apps second semester. I suggest you drop it for journalism since you like it more. I don't see why an abundance of humanties classes would be a negative thing - assuming you will want to major in it. It shows that you are interested in it. The rest of your classes, such as stats/calc from the upcoming year and previous years will show that you are well-balanced.

Just take what you want to take. Make sure you can handle it. Don't put too much on yourself. If you think you can't handle, don't take the class. You can add it later if you think you can handle it, but you might be more reluctant to drop the class than to get another hour of sleep. (assumption)
