I am talking to our director of curriculum to see if I could get exempt from a lit based English class (AP Lit) so I can enroll in Journalism Editorship (Honors) and Creative Writing. Would this be sufficient English? I could take all three, but I want to free up space so I can take two history AP's. Would colleges be concerned that I didn't enroll in a "traditional" English class senior year? I'm currently in AP Comp, so I do have some AP English behind my back. I've also been on our school newspaper for several years.

In the event that I decide to enroll in AP Lit (or am forced to by my GC), I would have to choose between AP Euro and AP Human Geography. I love history, and ideally want to be in both of these classes. If you have been in either of these classes, what did you think? Which did you find more interesting? Relevant? Challenging? Thought-provoking? I heard AP Human Geography is a really visual course and that appeals to me. I also am very interested in the environmental impacts of civilization (this hopefully will complement AP Enviro nicely). But I was already enrolled in Global Studies at our school. Would this be redundant, or would it be a fresh perspective?
