Another stupid question about UC GPA

<p>I know people say that the UCs let you weigh up to 8 semesters but I'm a little confused because our school has a semester system(new classes every semester). Would I weigh up to 8 classes, or just 2 grades from 4 classes (we only get 2 grades anyway) So then, how would I weigh my UC GPA?</p>
