but today I received almost the exact same email again...</p>
<p>Does it mean something (narrowing the applicant pool,etc) or is Cal just advertising it again?</p>
<p>Your receipt of this scholarship invitation does not in any way reflect on your application for admission to UC Berkeley. You are no more or less likely to be admitted to UC Berkeley because you have received this invitation, and your decision to apply or not apply for Cal Alumni Association scholarships will not affect your application status.</p>
<p>We should all just stop panicking and take a moment to think clearly when it comes to college decisions.</p>
<p>I got 3 same emails, but I am sure that it does not affect anything.</p>
