Anthro or History at Davis?

<p>Finishing up my last year at CCC and planning to TAG to Davis for fall 2012. Can’t make a final decision about majoring in either Anthropology or History. I will have all of IGETC done and all Anthro lower divs and most of History’s lowe divs so not too much difference in how many classes needed to complete either major. Love course offerings for both and am interested equally in both, but don’t want to double major as I plan to minor in Music. I plan to teach possibly one day…not sure about post BA plans. I am an older student and don’t need to figure out a career…doing this just for my fulfillment!</p>

<p>Anyone have any info regarding how strong these depts. are? Or any tips, suggestions, advice to help me choose? Thanks.</p>

<p>Would love to help you IM, but I’m a Stats major and have no clue about the specific departments of other majors :(. I can try and find out some info for you if you want though. </p>

<p>Yes, I have looked at the catalogue and the majors as well as the course descriptions. Was hoping to hear from some Anthro or History majors that are currently at Davis to hear some of the things you can’t find in print. The intangibles and personal experiences, etc. But thanks for replying!</p>
