Invited to participate in the Honors Program. Don’t know anything about scholarships yet.

Accepted with honors does anyone know when the actual letters are supposed to arrive?

^I assume letters are sent out on the 15th?

Anyways, I’m still wondering how people on CC know admission decisions before the 15th. I thought they sent out notification en masse. Does it say on our web accounts? [off to check web account :)]

Yep they are on that status check online. I was just signing on to double check they had everything…and then it had the decision on it. I was kind of disappointed; I am an open the letter at the mailbox kind of person

^Now I can’t find my paper with my login info…

I guess I’ll really find out on the 15th. ;)

i got Decision: Accepted with support

did anyone else get an admission packet with scholarship info on 1/16?

I got the letter on the 16th and I was Accepted with Honors.

I have not yet, and I live ridiculously close to campus.

Makes me mad :(

haha that’s kind of funny i’m like 10 min away

Okay, you’re closer :)

If I used my work address, it would have been about the same…

btw, Einenstein10, do you go to Oakwood? If so, how do y’all down there do with college placement/ amt. that go to top 20 schools, etc. I bet very few go to Sinclair ;)

i don’t go to oakwood. i go to a catholic school near there that usually does better than oakwood ;). don’t get me wrong oakwood is a good school though

Ah yes, a CJ Eagle on here. I knew I was bound to run into one someday.

Great school, and best of luck! The only private HS in the area I would not mind attending myself ;)

Anyways, I got my acceptance today, but no honors :(. The scholarship offered was also too low for my liking. So, I guess I’ll be going eslewhere :)

I still love UD, but I do not understand why they do not love me…

i go to alter not cj. cj and us are big rivals. haha. ya my scholarship wasn’t enough for me either.

Oh, my bad…

I always thought Alter was a little further away, though? I guess it’s really not :)

My doctor’s daughters go there, and seemed to do really well. One became a top runner in Ohio, and her younger sister is following in her footsteps currently.

Still, good luck! Sorry to hear that UD didn’t really work out for you, either.

it’s in kettering…just for future reference. but yeah thanks. i’ll find somewhere to go. what are your other options?

I applied to 30 colleges, and one of my main reasons why was so I would not be screwed into bad offers like this.

Yeah, I got other options…

What about you?

ohio u., purdue, u. of illinois, and still waiting for ohio state. they take way too long

Just received a letter explaining that I am eligible for a $48,000 scholarship, not bad.

^Same scholarship I got. No Honors invite, either, even though I have a 32 ACT and am a legacy. :(

I’ve officially dropped UD from my list, and although I still love the school, I realize that it will not work out for me. I could appeal, but I’d rather not. Valpariso is going to take its place on my list…
