Any advice on how to choose from 5 colleges?

Hello

I would love to get some advice on choosing a college to attend. I will be an international undergraduate student (class of 2016) and have been accepted to:

-Boston University
-The George Washington University
-Lehigh University
-Northeastern University
-University of Washington (Seattle)

I have done some research and from what I have found I believe that University of Washington is the best choice for me. It's one of the best public schools in the US, is one of the best college in the US overall, and is considered a public ivy league school, it's ranked very high in computer science (my major), it has one of the most beautiful campuses, and is located in a nice city.

I'm looking for the college that is ranked the highest on my list, has a nice community and environment, and has the best education and learning experience (for both my major and taking classes overall).

Thank you very much!

I like Lehigh on this list. Great community.

Does cost matter for you?

Do employers in your home country prefer graduates of one of these universities?

Ranked highest how and by whom? By selectivity? By USN&^WR? By some ranking system your company uses? By individual opinions?

They seem about the same to me, in terms of “prestige” issues with a lower familiarity/name recognition factor for UWash on the east coast, but I’ll be that those in the PNW would have the same trouble with the other schools you have listed… Is cost an issue at all?

for cs, I think they are peer schools, you cannot go wrong with any of them. pick the one YOU think it is better.

Lehigh would like be the hardest to travel to/from and an international. Other things being equal, you might want to consider the geography or being in a major east or west coast city with an international airport or not.

I would pick UW or BU.
