<p>I really need to know what colleges would best fit my career field, and would be likely to be accepted into.</p>
<p>I am a junior at a large public high school with a medium-high class difficulty. </p>
<p>Tests:
ACT- I havent taken it yet, but I will be taking it in March. I am aiming for a 28-31.
SAT- I took the SAT twice, once in the beginning of freshman year and then in the beginning of sophomore year. (I dont know why, but my dad made me
)
1st Attepmt: 1490
2nd Attempt: 1710
My parents have made it clear that the next attempt in January, will be my last. Im in SAT prep right now and am aiming to get above a 2000.</p>
<p>Academics:
Weighted GPA: 3.00
Unweighted GPA: -- not available
Im taking 1 AP this year, and at-most 5 Aps next year. So, a total of 6.
Im working hard this year to maintain all As this year and next year to possible boost my GPA over 3.5
I went up to Spanish III, sophomore year, but dropped it this year to be in Leadership (student government ) Ive been in the class for 2 years so far.</p>
<p>Extracurricular:
Ive been volunteering at a large hospital since spring of freshman year, and I have accumulated over 150 hrs.
I am doing a medical internship this upcoming spring.
I will be getting the Presidential Service Award (Gold) end of junior and senior year for my hours.
I am a part of the Leadership class/ Student Council for 2 years
I am the vice president of Chess Club</p>
<p>Prospective Colleges/Universities in NC:
I am looking for colleges that offer courses in biology, pharmaceutical related fields, life sciences etc. Im thinking about becoming an oncologist (cancer specialist) or a cancer researcher, or a pharmacist. (basically medical)
