Any asian get accepted into SCEA?

Asians*

I've gone through all 50+ pages of the Decisions Thread SCEA and haven't found any...

Makes me curious...

Please post stats as well (GPA, Scores, ECs, Awards, other + your comments of course)

Indian (which I'm assuming counts as Asian) and yes, I was admitted through SCEA

My stats are the same as the others'...2270 (SAT really does not matter after 2200), 35 (again does not really matter after 34)

4.0 UW (same as the others)

No significant awards such as Intel, etc.

Again, everybody else had these stats too. I think what got me in were my essays and recs.

My essays are quite beast... hopefully my recommendations are up to par...

Hopefully colleges take into seriously consideration the answer to

Counselor- "how long have you known this student?"

Three, my counselor answered.

yes.

10char

asian + international
at least 4 from my country... all very smart/unique ppl though

What country is this, if you don't mind me asking?

.serendipity: singapore, there are definitely others who got admitted too, just that i don't know them

2 are from a sch with only 90 students (i heard this sch has a 100% admit rate to MIT, stanford and imperial college so far)

1234d, did you guys seek financial aid?

^ i am not sure, but i don't think so... stanford's ridiculously stingy with finaid for international students

Stanford's stingy with internationals period, I think. Though if you want finaid, then it's your last nail in the coffin haha. Deferral sucks.

Congrats on getting in though!
