Any benefits in tutoring for pay?

I'm an AP Calculus student who is planning to tutor students in Math Analysis for pay. I think I could squeeze in 1 or two hours a week to tutor students. Also, I haven't yet taken SAT II MATH IIC so will this help me? Should I tutor the student for a few hours a week or should I focus on getting A's and good SAT scores? How do you think this experience will benefit me?

Also, how much should I ask them to pay me per hour? 10? If I can't handle it, I should just tell them that I'm too busy right? Thanks for your replies in adv.

Pay?

(Also, explaining things helps you understand the material better. It's a good review.)

yeah, pay=benefit.

Umm...you should be able to get A's and a good SAT score if you're only tutoring for a few hours a week. It could potentially help your studies if you learn the material better by teaching someone.

And yes, I would say the benefit is pay.

I tutor algebra 1 and 2 for like 25 dollars an hour, 10 bucks is pretty much nothing. It actually really helps you remember the material.

you get payed to review analysis. looks pretty good to me. plus another thing for those dreaded college apps
