Any Benefits of National AP Scholar as a Senior?

I'm a senior in high school and I've gotten two 5's so far (last year I took APUSH and US Gov, the latter self-studied) and I'm in 3 AP classes this year (Lit, Calc AB, Euro), so I'll have at least 6 AP results with my current plan (since I'm in Lit I'm already planning on taking Lang too), but I noticed that with 2 more tests I could be a National AP Scholar, and I figure that self studying maybe Comparative Government and Human Geography would be easy enough. But I'm wondering whether it's worth it (I might self-study a few anyway for the credits, not sure about this yet, so I'm just wondering for now in terms of award benefits) - I understand that being an AP scholar as a junior can help you in the application process, but is there any advantage to getting the award your senior year?
Thanks for any input you have! :)

A pat on the back

Haha ok, so it’s basically worthless then?

It boosts your ego and gives you a good sense of accomplishment :)

Ok  So just checking, does everyone agree that it’s useless? Can anyone think of any reason that this might be helpful somewhere down the line? I’m just thinking since it won’t be that much extra effort I may as well do it if there are any potential benefits, though from these responses I’m guessing there really aren’t any…

I have one! My daughter is a college freshman and a resume expert told them they need to take most high school stuff off your resume once you are in college. You are suppose to put only your best awards from high school so there is no room for -took 5 AP’s etc- but you can list AP National Scholar. You also get your personal satisfaction, on your school web page list (maybe) and the certificate.
