I just received an NYU brochure in the mail today, and I am very interested in their speech pathology program.

Do I have any chance at all if I get my SAT I score up? I know some majors are more difficult to get into than others.

1500/2400, only the new SAT I is available for my class. I forgot to mention that I will be graduating 7 months before the rest of my class (early this fall). So in the time between high school graduation and college, I'll be working.

lol no I don't know. many of the kids have went onto NYU, one girl I know had a 980 on the old SAT btw. Like I said, neither of my schools weighted GPA. Fortunately, you are young and haven't had to take the SAT yet. :)

ok and by the way, don't private message me again. if you're going to say something dont be sneaky about it. say it out loud.

and i'm too immature to be discussing my future? im one school year younger than you, so for all you know, (which cant be much if you got a 1500/2400) you could be like 1 month older than me.

i honestly wasnt trying to be mean but im not going to sugarcoat it.

thanks for the info. :) I'm pretty sure I raised my score over 200 points on the June test. I'll be taking it for the last time in October. Then I'll try to fit in a biology and german SAT II.

uh, I never pm'ed you. why are starting trouble? jeesh, usually people are so peaceful here. please send me your SAT score report if you did so well on it.

how mature of you to make something else up. I read your posts and you've never taken the SAT, so you are a liar. After I get my next set of scores back they'll be well over 1700. Which is over 1700 points higher than someone who has never taken the test at all.

Thanks to those of you that answered my questions. Hopefully, if I raise my score to 1900 over the summer and do well on my SAT II's I will have a better chance. :)
