Bump please chance me for Johns Hopkins University

Why aim for JHU? Your SAT with your URM status can pretty get you in to any college you like :stuck_out_tongue: And if you don’t get into JHU…none of us will LOL. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1256927-chances-hyps-top-colleges-will-chance-back.html

Stats for JHU - SAT (Single Sitting) = 2230, GPA = 3.8

Your SAT is high (duh), and your URM status is also a big plus (duh). Your EC’s are good, but community service could use a bit of love. Obviously, your GPA is, admittedly, very weak for JHU. Why is this? Do you go to a competitive school with massive grade deflation, or are you a slacker who tests very well? If you’re the former, it’s a match. However, if you’re the latter it’s a low (maybe mid) reach.

Are those your real stats? Or are they projected?

…Projected…

What school at Hopkins? And where do you live? Hopkins admissions can be just as odd as ivey.

^Science&arts (I think that’s what its called) and like it says I live in Oklahoma

Bumping this thread for some more chances

how does your school rank nationally? The fact that you are only a 3.02 and getting such high test scores certainly raises some questions. Is your school particularly rigorous?

How many students at your school get into top colleges?

^We’re ranked 64 or something. And yeah its CRAZY!!! We do a lot more compared to over schools. And no b/c of the grade deflation and lack of knowledge of our school, plus many of those who could get in don’t feel like applying…it bugs me that top students go to state schools when they can easily get into an Ivy

This is my one last final bummp…please reply
