I’m 24 years old and want to attend MIT to get a masters in chemical engineering. To be honest with you during my time in undergrad I spent most of my time in junior college taking mostly liberal arts classes as well as failing and retaking classes. I ended up taking more math and science courses since I took a different course of study. I changed my major to associate in science, got a bachelors in computer science from a state college, and manage to get a 3.98 GPA. I only joined one engineering club and didn’t participate in more extra circulars because I was more focused on my grades as well as taking courses to make me well rounded for a graduate program in chem engineering. Do I still have a chance at MIT?
