I'm a transfer student econ major, 2nd semester here.
I've been really thinking of changing my major to architecture...talked to the counselor who basically said NO, cant do it. Anyone know anybody that has, etc? I gues i could talk to the dean, the counselor asid i only have 4 semestes here left...but, ive heard of instances that transfer students stay 3 years instead of 2. Any idea, anyone? The counselors arent very helpful ><

well...i have a friend who first majored in poli sci rhetoric...but she hated it so she dropped the major completely second semester and took up....um....i guess regular poli sci? anyway..the point is...she did change majors and she ended up doubling in poli sci and sociology.

Students registered at the University of California, Berkeley who wish to transfer into the College of Environmental Design must wait at least one year from the time of their admission to Berkeley before changing colleges. The application deadline for the fall and spring semesters is the last day of the first week of classes. The same prerequisite courses and unit limits apply to Berkeley change of college applicants as apply to all transfer applicants. Change of college applicants must meet the minimum grade requirements listed below. Satisfaction of minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee admission to the major. If there are more qualified applicants than places, those with the strongest qualifications will be admitted. A minimum grade of C must be earned in each of the prerequisite courses, and the overall grade-point average must be at least 3.0.

Tell me how much that helps because it's all that I could find in terms of relevancy to your post.
