^^^ I’d suggest that you apply to all the UCs. I believe that at least 3 or 4 of them would offer you a spot. You may also apply to USC, Occidental College, Chapman, Santa Clara University, University of San Diego, Claremont Mckenna, Pepperdine, among others.

No; I don’t think so. USC superscore SATs that’s why it appears that they have students with higher SATs, but in reality, it is still harder to get into Berkeley and UCLA than it is to USC. And, Berkeley is as hard as schools like Cornell, Johns Jopkins, Northwestern, Chicago, for international students.

HI…it seems hard to meet a, ummmm, china guy here, and i am from mainland.
i suppose your SAT score may be , somewhat low.
i got 2020 first time i took it in Asian-Expo in HK INTl Airport, and my counselor says it is hard for me to be admitted by UC Berkeley.

UC’s will not look at the December SAT because the deadline for admission apps is Nov. 30. UCB/UCLA are both reaches. UCSD is a high match, rest are matches and safeties. Low SAT is a definite drag, and since you are OOS, it is harder for you to get into the UC’s. Good luck!
