I really want to know if I should even bother applying to the VERY top schools in the country- like the Ivy League and such. So could anybody please chance me? Thanks to everyone right away!

Immigrated to US 6 years ago- Eng. was not my first language
GPA: My school has a pretty weird system where about 6.5 is the highest. Right now I have 6.2 or so. Also, I am number 141 out of 570, even though I have straight A's. (a very competitive school).
Throughout all of the high school years my only semester B was 88 in chem- otherwise I'm a straight A student.
By the time I graduate I will have taken 4 AP classes:
World History-4, US History- 5, and European History and Studio Art which I'm taking this year (let's assume I get both 5's ^__^)
SAT: 1720 (hell yeah- I'm taking that again!)
ACT: 24
SAT II: US Hist-680, Math 1-600 (please don't laugh!))

Extracurricular:
National Honor Society
National French Honor Society
J'AIDES (a school-spirit group)
Art Club- donated artwork
"Run for the Arts"- also donated artwork
Art of Henna Club- kind of meaningless, but still worth mentioning in my opinion
Occasional medal winner of local and regional art contest (but never the overall winner or anything)
I have about 8 academic awards and certificates for my classes in high school, as well.
I could also kinda-sorta say that I tutored children in Ukraine when I came to visit (Ukraine's my homeland. I mean, it's not like someone's gonna check, right?... O_o
And that's pretty much it...

I realize that I am absolutely no match for some of the people in here. But by "top schools" I meant ones like Rice or Baylor, because I actually want to stay in Texas for various reasons (tuition costs being one of them).
My realistic choices would probably be University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M...

So could anyone please tell me if I'm at least good enough for the schools I have listed? Or maybe something better, like Ivy League? Should I even apply to schools like Stanford?
