So, I transferred from Rutgers Newark to Bergen Community College due to major switching.

So far, I'm doing pretty well at Bergen with a slightly above avg gpa.
My Rutgers GPA is 2.923, due to a grade of D on General Chemistry I.

I called SEBS that, even for previously enrolled Rutgers Newark students, I can possibly re-enroll through another school, especially SEBS itself. Plus, a cumulative gpa of 2.0 and a good academic standing are both considered for reenrollment.

Even if I had 1 D on Gen Chem I, which stays on my RU transcript, will I ever be accepted as a reenrolled Rutgers-New Brunswick student? I will be applying for reenrollment for Fall 2013 before August 15th, which is the deadline. And I also plan to major in Food Science or Nutritional Science, in which i believe either of them is a little easier than any other science majors.

SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

The standards for New Brunswick is higher than Newark. If you have 3.0 GPA from Bergen and you GPA from Rutgers Newark is around the same, I think you have a good chance. Just make sure whatever courses you are taking at BCC are transferable.

The key is to apply early so don’t wait until the last day. If you are ready, just apply ASAP. Rutgers admits students on a rolling basis so the earlier, the better your chance of getting in.

Thanks, but if I were to re-enroll through SAS New Brunswick, I would get all A’s on Englsh Comp 2 and something easy at Newark during the summer.

For Rutgers Newark summer session I (may 28 - july 5), I will be taking English composition II snd some easy-A class.

Any “easy-A” classes and “easy-A” English 102 courses around Rutgers Newark summer session I? I was thinking to take Living Theater with Louis Wells.

If I could have over 3.0 gpa (2.923 gpa improved and increased to over 3.0) at Rutgers newark, due to 2 A’s on English Comp 2 and Living Theater, but 1 D on gen chem, will there be a chance for me to re-enroll through the New Brunswick School of Arts and Sciences? plus, I got 2 B’s on gen bio 1 and 2 from Bergen which can be transferred, so they satisfy the natural science requirements.

Plus, if possible, I might be majoring in Theater Arts at SAS New Brunswick.

I would apply if I were you. Is your grades are good except for one, then I think you should be fine. They will look at all of your grades and not just the GPA and since you only have one bad grade, you should be fine.

Thanks, mytwosons. I hope I deserve something slightly above average, even a C/C+.
