any comments will be appreciated

anybody??help me

I really think you can get into UCLA sociology but I am not sure about USC

I'm assuming you are applying for sophomore status, if so could you list your GPA? That way I could give you a little more accurate answer...

As far as stats go, I think you have a very strong chance. Considering the median average for a UCLA transfer is a 3.5, and they place a greater emphasis on CCC students, I would say you have a good shot at the 2 schools you listed.

Write an awesome essay and best of luck!

thanks guyz

transfer as junior

i completed 56 units so far and spring semester

that is over 60 units

any chance to usc??

even you get into usc
dont go.
go to ucla.

I think you have good chances at both schools. Despite what was said by Nerf2111, the actual median average for CCC transfers to UCLA last year was 3.66. (This is put out by the UCOP office). USC actually gives preference to those with GPAs over 3.6--if you took the required prerequisites.

As a junior transfer, neither school should be looking at your SAT scores too much. You'll need to play up your activities and work experience a little bit, since most schools like to admit people who not only have the grades, but who were also active outside of the classroom.

P.S. I'm presuming you already know this, but USC will not admit you unless you have already taken a writing class by the end of spring semester. Check your articulation agreement to see which courses will meet this requirement.

USC does not put emphasis on CCC students those are UC's.
And the median transfer gpa of accepted student is 3.7
i think you have a decent shot at USC actually.
