Any colleges and majors about golf?

<p>Hi! Guys,</p>

<p>I'm from Beijing, China. I do have a question about golf education in US. Are there any majors related with golf in US? I mean majors about golf management or business, not really about swing or skills, because I truly realize that I don't have enough gift in swings, but I do lov golf. So I'm wondering about any majors about golf.</p>

<p>IMG (International Management Group) has been so famouse about organizing top golf events in world. I wish I could work there some day.</p>

<p>The husband of a friend of mine is a golf pro and he got a degree from Ferris State in Golf Management.</p>

<p>Yes - Professional Golf Management is a program at some US colleges. Take a look at the PGA website:</p>

<p>However, I think this program expects you to be able to play at a certain level. I’m also not sure how it applies to you as an international, but you could check it out.</p>

<p>I would suggest you look at schools with sports management majors. If you do a search on the forum, you’ll see many threads related to this. University of Maryland in College Park, for example, has such a major.</p>
