I took Linshaw for 20A 2 years ago... He was pretty boring, and I didn't like the way he taught (he had more words on the board than math...) I think that was his first quarter teaching, so he may have improved since then...

I took Tesler for 20C. He was an alright lecturer, and had super easy tests. But I had a friend who took him more recently, and she had a hard time (and she is better at calc than me) so he may have become more difficult. But either way, I like him more than Linshaw.

I had linshaw for 20a, he was pretty monotone and quite, but it wasn't too bad. I had tesler for 20c as well, and I thought he taught it well. He doesn't go too much into proofs that we don't need to know and the tests weren't bad either.

I actually really liked 20C (for some weird reason...). The last 2 weeks or so of 20B was when I wished I had taken the 10 series since the 10 series doesn't cover infinite series (what I thought was the most difficult part of the entire 20 series).

i had chow for 21D ... pretty average guy. decent lectures, good exams, the only downside of the class was that we had a crazy religious guy for a TA.

i ran into him (chow) at the gilman parking office four years after i took his class and had a nice chat with him while we waited. he had no idea who i was, but was really cool about it.

and to answer a common inquiry concerning professors of non-caucasian surnames: he doesn't have an accent.

He seemed like a great guy and very friendly, but he expects a lot out of his students and accelerates his curriculum moreso than other professors

went to class half the time. A+. tests are so easy.

he's kinda weird though. he's really excited and writes fast. one time to demonstrate double/triple integrals, he brought in potatoes and cut them. another time he lectured on gradients and brought in a mixing bowl. his 'suitcase' is a trash bag...
