Any East Coasters who will be at USC in the fall?

I'm an east coast girl who will definately be attending USC next fall. I'm curious if there are others out there who are taking the same path and moving out west. I'm the only one I know who has decided to actually move out of New England to go to school. If you've decided to move across the country for USC what are you feeling now? I'm so excited and so lucky to be going, but I'm also nervous, I come from a close family and leaving is a major deal.
I'd like to connect with other East Coasters who are making the move and maybe discuss feelings on the subject.

Hey what's going on, I live in Connecticut, and go to school in NYC...I think I might be out there next year

I am from Miami and 95% going to USC this fall. I am also excited and nervous at the same time. Most of my friends are staying in the east (as a matter of fact, staying in Florida). But I feel that moving west would be good for me because I need a change. Is not that I have anything against miami, (I will probably move back to miami in the future), but by moving west, I know I will meet new people, and be in a different crowd of people for the first time in a long time.

all the way from the west coast, jeez, I thought i was moving far coming from utah, more of a culture shock for me

It's good to know that there are others out there who are planning to move. I personally hate the winter, so I'm not planning on moving back when I finish school. I'm actually thinking of settling in L.A. when I finish with med school. I guess I'll be seeing you guys next fall, even though I won't know anyone at least not face to face.

i'm considering going all the way from new york, but the distance thing is kinda holding me back a bit. Hope to see you all there

i'll be there in spring from NYC

I'll be coming from Long Island.

I am completely leaving all of my family here in NY and I am looking forward to meeting new people. Everyone thinks I am crazy, but I think I am going to fall in love with the atmosphere (...I already have).

On a side note, did anyone from the Tri-State area attend the USC Acceptees Reception at the Marriot in NYC this past Sunday?

I am from Boston and seriously considering to attedning USC and most probably settling in CA after college. yea, I am also very excited and happy but at the same time nervous and a bit scared. But i think i will be fine. hope to see you guys there.

BTW, just want to be more regional, anyone from Boston also going to USC next year?

I'm fairly close to you, I'm from NH, which I assume you know is pretty small.

Mike Jones, where in manhattan do you live, I just moved out of an apt. on 87th, I had one there for a while during the week (used to my sis's)
