I know it's extremely hard for a engineering major student to have a double major or even a minor?

I'm a coming freshman and I already have some decent credits with me either from AP or from College courses...my major now is Mechanical Engineering and I'm seeking for a minor related to business....unfortunately UCLA only offers Accounting and pure Math in Minor..

I just wanna some advice on this...Has anyone tried this before?

It will be hard to graduate in 4 years if you want to double major with mechanical engineering because there are a lot of required MechE upperdivs to take. Taking summer school might help, but if you are in no rush to graduate in 4 years then go for it.

I’m considering doing that once I get to UofM: getting a bachelor’s from the College of Engineering as well as one from the business school. However, I’ve heard it would be very intensive and I’m probably better off just getting the engineering degree and then an MBA.
