My daughter just got accepted to this today (program for high schoolers to take UA courses online during high school for college credit).

Any idea of the quality of the classes? She’s interested in taking US History 1st.
What about difficulty level?

We’ll go to the intro class in June and take the campus tour then. Any recommendations on hotels to stay in close to campus?

Thanks for any help,
Michelle

Classes should be the same difficulty as regular UA courses. I’m not from AL, but I did a lot of online dual-enrollment with community colleges and found that the biggest challange was finding the time to go online and do the assignments. If your D has the will power to stay involved in an online course, she should be fine.

Other threads have more specific details, but many people on this forum use priceline to get the Windgate by Wyndham out on Exit 77 (campus is exit 73). Otherwise, the Hotel Capstone is nice and right on campus.
