I just got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday. Yay! Have to send coursework/syllabus etc by May 1st including the stuff for the classes I’m currently in. Which might be a problem because they don’t finish till the second week of May. I’m going to call and see if I could get an extension. But super excited!
I imagine I was accepted because of being a somewhat non-traditional student. Female 30 y/o. Spent many years traveling the world and supporting family throughout their military careers. My husband’s finally getting out and I can finally get my degree
GPA 3.8
60+ credits that will hopefully transfer
Major Chemical Engineering
I just got mine as well! I’m waiting on some other schools to accept/deny at the grad level, but barring anything unforseen, I’ll be sending my IE probably in early April.
As far as stats go, I’m a weird one.
I’m returning for a second bachelor’s in ME.
Could you follow up with what they tell you about your final transcript? My classes end May 15. But I’m taking my finals a week early bc I’m getting married on the 7th!
I’ve had a hard time getting them on the phone, my husband spoke to them a couple times on my behalf though. And I did get a voicemail. From what I understand, they’re pretty lenient about when they receive final transcripts since most classes won’t end till after May 1st. I sent the syllabi for all my science and math classes as requested. I still don’t have any confirmation on what exactly they need from my physics course- on the information sheet it says all syllabus and exams. I asked my professor if he would would send the exams since we haven’t even done the first one yet. I’m not sure if they want it graded or not. Hard to send something I haven’t taken. Also the first two exams in my class will be take-home and submitted through blackboard. We lost a lot of days due to the DC blizzard. He made them online so we could catch up on lectures but I won’t even have hard copies. I’m just worried because I read on earlier posts that they usually make you take physics over again. In the event that it doesn’t transfer, I’m still able to drop without grade penalty up till March 22nd but I’d like to knock it out now. I’m just waiting to hear from them, that it meets their standard.
@nahenry1 That was on a letter from the registrar’s office, included with the acceptance packet. It might be different for you especially considering you already have a degree. But definitely contact them, I was told that the guy to speak with is Nolan, not Brendan (I think he is either transferring out of the department or possibly the school)
No, I got the same stuff, I just hadn’t read it very closely at the time. I’m still trying to gather up all my syllabi - I don’t know how I’m going to get my hands on past tests for my physics classes.
Well I had one hell of a time getting my hands on them but all my classes are in. I asked if they knew how long out would take to hear back, but no answer yet
