<p>Okay, I know some of you are lurking out there. Has anyone that applied for Fall 07 transfer been accepted yet? I was told they would start reviewing the transfer apps in mid January, but now at the end of January I don't think I've seen a single person post that they got accepted (or not).</p>
<p>Makes me wonder, because my professor told me that in previous years her students heard around late February or March. Perhaps mid-January is only when they start the "6-8 weeks" process and not the actual decisions.</p>
<p>If I had known the decision making time was as far away from what it is for Freshman admits, I probably would not have killed myself to get my app in by October.</p>
<p>Since the transfer deadline is march first I don't think they HAVE to give you a decision till then but I applied transfer to UNC and UMICH and UNC guarentees a decision by april 21st so I imagine it will be about that time. But your right, it probably takes about 6-8 weeks to evaluate an app for completeness. Good Luck!</p>
<p>Well my app was complete on 11/01 and they received my updated transcript in early December. I just didn't know if they had even started releasing decisions yet. It'd be good to be able to start planning based on where I'm going to attend, and UofM (which is of course my first choice) is the only place I have not received an acceptance from yet.</p>
