Any Freshman With Hockey Tickets

Give this article a good read. You should be keeping up to date with The Heights anyways.

I am one of those parents who bought BC Hockey season tickets for my freshman daughter. I have forwarded the article to her and will monitor her attendance. I don’t believe in being a helicopter parent, but in this case I will be flying a Huey.

If she can’t make a game, definitely have her try to sell the ticket to a friend or go on one of the Facebook groups to sell it. There are always people looking to buy tickets, especially in the “Boston College Ticket Exchange” group.

What’s the best way to find tickets to the BC-Notre Dame football for her brother and sister coming in for the weekend?

Unless you’re willing to spend big bucks, it’s almost impossible. Student tickets, if you can even find someone selling them, have recently gone for up to $100 or more. Plus then your daughter would need to borrow others’ student IDs in order for her siblings to use those tickets. For regular tickets, the only way to get a Notre Dame football ticket as of now is to purchase the bundle pack, which also includes tickets to the Maryland and Virginia Tech football games. The bundle pack is going for $150/pack at http://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=F12&linkID=bostoncoll&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

My best advice would be to hope your daughter finds two people selling student tickets, and then borrows 2 IDs from friends, or pony up to buy the bundle on BCEagles.com or individually on Stubhub (equally expensive). If she wants two student tickets, she needs to vigilantly check the Facebook groups.

Thanks for the ideas. Looks like StubHub and $$$$ is the solution!

…but I actually did have to buy tickets with my own money haha.

I understand what the author is getting at and believe me, I plan to go to all the games (and will sell them if I can’t make it)…looking forward to the season.
