I don't where I caught the flu (:. My throat hurts so bad. Any ideas on how to get over one by Monday.
My branch manager at work will be coming for inspections on Monday.

Sleep as much as possible and drink green tea. It works for me.

Isn't it summer..?

Okay, well, I suggest you drink as much water as possible. No, I'm not exaggerating, I was sipping water for entire days when I was sick.

Take some vitamin pills, they should help.

green tea? ugghhh

How long the infection lasts depends on your own immune system, whether it's bacterial or viral, and what bacteria/virus it is. Some viral infections last a LONG time. I've had a sore throat for 2 weeks that I'm just getting over; and had been sick the entire time.

There really aren't any remedies that will help you for monday unless your immune system fights it off by then, or if you take antibiotics if it's a bacterial infection. Vitamin C can reduce a cold by about 1/4 to 1/2 of a day, according to my pharmacist.

Yeah, believe me getting sick during the summer is nuts. My throat feels hot, sticky, and I want to throw up. Blah (:

Well, I've been sick four different times for the last six weeks.

try cayenne pepper with water and every other liquidy (and solid if possible) food you eat. my friend does it every time shes sick and swears it works

Keep going. Don't suspend your life because you have the sniffles. Still go to school/work, still go out with your friends, and still take time to do the things you enjoy. Just make sure you get enough rest. You'll feel much better if you don't sit at home and feel sorry for yourself.
