I recently withdrew from my college after one semester. There was a lot of prejudice and intolerance towards many different people. I am not against drinking and having a good time, but the drinking and drug use (lots of cocaine) was out of control. I am attending community college as of right now, but want to transfer to another school next fall.

I am looking for a school that is liberal without being "oats and granola" (i.e.; Warren Wilson), that offers Animal Behavior/ Ethology, Biopsychology, or Pre-Vet. I don't really want to go to a large school, I'd like to go somewhere with less than 5.000 students preferably in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic or Midwest. I did pretty well in high school (took some honors classes, graduated with a 3.6something), my SATs weren't great- my highest was 1160. In college my first semester G.PA. was a 3.325.

I'm a caucasian female, in high school I was president of the german club, and a member of german honor society and some other things. I did a month of community service in Costa Rica as well.

I have used college search sites tirelessly without much luck and am hoping someone has some first-hand advice.

Thanks!
