Any info on transferring to UCLA, USC, UCI, Loyola Marymount, or Pedderine?

Hello everyone. I just wanted to see if I could have some advice regarding my chances of getting into either one of these schools. But first, let me tell you some of my academic history. I graduated High School in 2013 and started CC in Spring 2014. My first two semesters (spring 2014 and fall 2014), consisted of mostly my non-transferable classes to get to my transferable ones. My gpa has gone up and down since I started. I’ve had above a 3.0 but I’ve also had below a 3.0. So far, I only have one W, one D(but retook and got a B), one F from last semester(but retaking now and in an honors course),and 2 C’s on my transcript. However, I just recently got into the honors program and I’m taking 3 this semester including a non-honors Bio class. I plan on getting straight A’s this semester and applying as well. I currently have a 2.8 because the F killed me. I don’t know how much my gpa would rise if I were to get straight A’s. As of right now, I have 22 units and will be with 35 units by the end of this fall semester. I plan on taking a few winter courses and about 4-5 courses in spring to add up to the 60 units that are required to transfer to a UC. (That’s Including 3 more honors courses because I need to finish a total of 6 honors classes to graduate from the honors program). Many counselors told me that by joining the honors program, it would make me a more competitive applicant (especially to UCLA and UCI) and I would have priority consideration, which is why I joined. I would also like to add that the 22 units are my transferable ones. I’m a Psychology Major and I don’t have any experience with volunteer work or clubs, etc. I’ve had challenging hip surgeries during my years of high school and had to be home schooled for my freshman. Hoping that will look okay on my personal statement. I just feel that my college academic experience was not excellent but not bad either. I feel in the middle and I just need some advice, inspiration, anything. Counselors don’t help that much.

Can you retake the class that you have F?

Yes I am currently retaking that class. I’m also taking it as an honors course instead(don’t know if that will make a difference)
