Any interviews after Dec.15?

My son won't be able to do an interview before Monday; does anyone know if they'll do Skype interviews after that? The person at the admissions office kinda gave the impression that they were not doing anymore, but that he had "options" he'd learn about only after the application was sent in (knowing him, it'll be later vs. sooner).

I read that Skype interviews are only for ED applicants. But I think that they will be conducting interviews until Dec 21st, so you still have time.

after i sent in my application they sent me an email saying i had three options: come to campus for interview, skype interview, or a written online timed interview (which i chose, 5 questions, 6 minutes each)....i did not apply ED

Jerseyyyy21-
Did you submit test scores? Cause I submitted my RD app and haven't gotten any email about an interview.

rschlegel420-
I haven't submitted my test scores yet. I submitted my application on 11/24 and got the e-mail on 12/1...Here is the e-mail that I received:

Thank you for your interest in Wake Forest University! We have received your application and look forward to reviewing it soon.

Because our admissions process is thorough and individualistic, we strive to know as much about you as possible before we make an admissions decision. To date, our records indicate we have not conducted a personal interview with you as part of the admissions process. Please be aware that lack of a personal interview may cause delay in the processing of your application. To ensure receipt of an admissions decision as expected, please choose one of the interview options outlined below.

I. A face-to-face conversation with us is most helpful. Interviews are available in the Admissions Office Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 4:00pm through December 15. Call the Admissions Office at 336.758.5201 to schedule an on campus interview.

II. We understand there are situations which may prevent a visit to campus. An additional avenue which will allow you to introduce yourself to us beyond the printed application is a written "interview" which may be accessed by following WFU | Undergraduate Admissions | Virtual Interview. Please keep in mind that this is to be treated as a personal conversation, not an additional written portion of the application.

You will need the username and PIN provided below: Here they gave me my personal information

III. An additional avenue is the “Virtual Interview” option. The “Virtual Interview” is a voice over IP option using Skype. “Virtual Interviews” via Skype are offered Monday – Friday between 8:30am and 4:00pm through the end of December, excluding December 19 – 26.

They here give some instructions on setting up a Skype interview

We look forward to hearing from you soon and learning more about you. If our records are inaccurate and you, in fact, have interviewed on our campus, simply reply to this message with your full name and approximate date of interview. We will research our records and communicate with you via email.

Best wishes!

Thanks so much, Jerseyyyy21! Looks like if he submits soon there is still hope...

Thanks so much, Jerseyyyy21. I submitted my test scores, and, as I understand it, they are relying more on the interviews now because of their test score optional policy. Again, thanks.
