Any last minute suggestions?

I've applied to tulane (got in w/22k.. still too expensive) and south carolina (hoping to get a big scholarship, dream school if i got the in state tuition scholarship). I also applied to Stony Brook and Binghmanton which I don't like, but i know i can afford since theyre state schools

I have a 1310 SAT and a 3.5W GPA w/12 AP classes. My families EFC is ~22k so we don't get much help, but in order for me to attend a college the COA has to be no more than 22k. Are there any other colleges in which i can receive enough scholarships to bring the COA down to ~22k? I have pretty good e/cs and recs i believe (and essays).

Thanks, I want to be in engineering/business but I'm open to all suggestions.

Please don't suggest school who have deadlines that have past.

i'm from upstate ny.

In the South…Ole Miss

In the Midwest…Truman State…no engineering

In the West…University of Wyoming and Montana State University

All have net price calculators on their website.

Thanks, that was a big help… more?

Did you apply for financial aid to Tulane, too? The scholarship is merit-based and may not be all the funds Tulane may have that is available to you. If accurate, let them know you are interested but that you still need assistance if any can be available.

A few privates to try…run their net price calculators and see if they work…they are cheaper to begin with so that will help…

Trinity University (TX)
Evansville
Bradley

Some more publics…
Oklahoma State
LSU
Idaho

$22,000 per year is a tough nut to crack, I know, that is our budget also. I’m giving you the list of schools that we are looking at.

Try U Dayton which has good merit aid, good engineering and good business. Some of the upper midwest public Us have low costs - North/South Dakota, Minnesota.

Tuition, fees, room and board after your $8,000+ scholarship would be $20,500 (this year) at Nebraska, and you’d qualify for their Honors program.
