any little kids or 30+ adults (non-parent) on this forum

<p>Hello. I'm sure this is not a great way to start my tenure here, but here goes.</p>

<p>I've been looking around this forum for people that aren't angsty teens, holier-than-thou college students or nervous parents here. Where are they?</p>

<p>why should there be any? if there are, then they're here to stalk someone...</p>

<p>First off, the people here are worried about college, therefore, no little kids would have a reason to be here. Second, most parents are here because they have a child trying to go to college, which makes them "nervous". Third, not everyone is "angsty teens, holier-than-thou college students or nervous parents". If your looking for a stress free, non-college talking place, then you might want to look elsewhere. You have to understand that people do have worries about college and they come here to express them.</p>

<p>still the amount of emotion expressed on this forum is simply amazing...and i have to say that some people are wayyyyy too open on the 'chance me' forum</p>

<p>I'll assume I fit that boat.
I'm already in college, so I'm hardly nervous.
I go to a state school - which is enough to make most kids here squirm and projectile vomit - so I'm not holier-than-thou. </p>

<p>Though, I personally find the nervous parents to be entertaining. I actually do laugh at a lot of the posts they make. "My D wants to go to Stanford but can't be bothered to do her own school researching so she uses me as a mule and I happily do the dirty work for her and must report back with my findings at one."</p>

<p>Okay, maybe I'm a little holier-than-thou...</p>
