I got my visa. I would'nt say it was easy but anyway I thank God. Switch you are probably the first Nigerian I have heard who found the interview easy. Most people I talked to were coming for their 2nd, 3rd and even their 4th time.

Congrats Sefago. That is so good to hear.

congrats man- one can only wonder why they said no at first

thanks-i start school next week so i am pretty excited. well i wish everybody the best-will try to check here as oft as i can-good luck. I hope the class of 2011 can use this site to continue such wonderful discussions that were discussed on this thread. I pray all our dreams to make Nigeria a better place will come to fulfilment.

Hello....I've been out for a really long time, that, I concede. But as we all embark on our next academic mission......good luck.

To the class of 2011, please use this thread. Some of us may have hard time finding a new Nigerian thread (if one is created). I'm sure that when the admissions season heats up again, we'll all be back to offer whatever advice we can. So, post away!!

Hi, I am at Georgetown. Hope you all enjoy your school.

Switch and Jrock how are your orientation programs going?

Orientation is okay but it has been raining interminably since I got here. How's your's been, Sefago?

Wow, the weather in different parts of US is very different. It has been sunny throughout my stay at Georgetown. The orientation is OK but I am getting really tired.

well orientation is almost over-a tropical storm(ernesto) just passed by causing it to rain for 2 days or so which was kinda messd but its all good.

peace yall

are there any class of '11 members here yet?

i guess not

I am awaiting decision from University of Georgia. Ndi Igbo kwenu!

Man, I starting to feel Nigerians are like asians.

But on a serious note, how many Nigerians will go back to Nigeria after they receive their degrees. My father philanthropy in Nigeria has deeply influenced me. I am thinking about working for the UN or WHO after I get out of college.

Anyone else?

I'm from Kenya, can I join this thread, seeing as how the Africa thread isn't too active? Anyone interested in studying film?
Thanks :)
