I will be interviewing with an alumna on Skype… I am pretty nervous now >.<…
You may want to post in Beloit’s forum, but in general, they will ask you questions to get to know you. Be sure you have some questions ready for the interviewer as well - and make sure it’s not stuff you can find on Beloit’s website. Ask them about their experience at Beloit, why they chose it, etc.
Most interviews like this are very casual and informational - not like a job interview. According to Beloit’s Common Data Set, interviews are “considered” but not “important” or “very important.” So it may help if your qualifications are borderline but you shine in the interview. But it probably won’t impact your admission greatly. Look at is as an opportunity to have a conversation and learn more about Beloit and whether it’s the right place for you.
@college_query Ahhhh thank you very much!!
Applied here. Initially Beloit wasn’t even a consideration but I needed a solid safety that would give a high amount of aid. I’ve been offered place and a $30,000 Presidential scholarship. If you’ve got the scores Beloit really isn’t that hard a place to get in given they have a 69% admit rate.
