Any point to self-studying senior year?

Is there any point in self studying a subject senior year, if the subject is not in your intended major?

I'd do it if I wanted to try for one of the AP awards as a matter of personal pride. And even if the class isn't in your intended major, if you can skip into a "higher level" elective in college, why not? :P

I agree with the above post, you can earn college credit, it might not go on your application but you can still get into a higher elective.

defnitely. besides, you can slip it in somewhere in your apps that you're self-studying an AP. that can't hurt...i, for one, am self-studying 2 this(senior) year

When does the college you got accepted get your AP scores or do you have to call collegeboard up to tell them to send it to the college?!

Nope, lie back, pull some pranks, screw around, throw parties, but don't take the APs unless you are serious about college credit.
