How many students are typically in each college? Specifically Sixth College. Thanks!

@goldenevence: Around 600 something per college, since there should 4,000 (I read somewhere 3,539)incoming freshmen at UCSD. Sorry don’t know the specific for sixth.

I’m going to agree with UCSanDiego on this one. If they legitimately read my essays and placed me into a college based off of that… I should be in Revelle right now

I dunno, my college fits me really well, though. I am a Scottish citizen, and I wrote my paper about how my travels to Europe broadened my cultural horizons and how it made me appreciate multinationalism.

Suprise suprise, I got in ERC :p

Do you get enough privacy for masturbation?

How is campus life?
Do people actually seem like theyre happy there?

i think so, at least i am :D:D

@lee3522: Uh…very interesting question… all I can say is that if there’s enough privacy for sex then I guess there should be enough for masturbation. Hopefully your roommates won’t care

I’m sorry that I have to ask (another) stupid question…I cannot really recall if I sent an official high school transcript when I applied to UC, because as far as I remember, there was a section from an application form that I could self report my gpa…am I correct?

@fbendana: The quality of campus life is different for each person. Those who are involved with events think that UCSD is really fun, but those who stay in their rooms don’t think so. Anyways, there are always concerts, dances, club events, performances, open mic nights, etc going on so you will always find something to do on campus Personally, I really enjoy my campus life at UCSD.

@aznfromva: Your highschool should be the one sending your transcripts later on in the school year. I remember at the end of the school year, my high school had me fill out which college I was going to and then they sent my official transcript to UCSD.

yeah that’s what I thought…
so here’s my REAL question…what would happen if the grades I self reported do not match my real one? like it’s not severely different, but maybe ‘A’ to ‘B’ different for several classes…since I did not have my official transcript when I applied to UCs, I had to kinda guess all my grades…do you think it would jeopardize my acceptance? because I really hope it does not…

send them the updated one and a letter explaining the situation as soon as possible

okay…so ucsd ‘has not’ received my official transcript…correct?

@aznfromva: I advise you to take SDboy’s suggestion. As long as, it was a minor mistake, like you accidentally filled out one grade wrong, it should be fine, but if, let’s say you filled out that you got all A’s, but in reality you actually got all B’s, then I would be scared because then UCSD would think you straight out lied about your grades. It wouldn’t make sense that you somehow “forgot” all your grades even if you didn’t have your official transcript in front of you.

Yes, they don’t have it yet.

okay thank you that relieves me a little bit…

I got into Revelle and know that i know more about it I am not sure that i want to be in Revelle due to the science and language requirements. Is there any way to transfer before you go there next year?

@nutmeg3975: Sorry, it is impossible to transfer before you attend, you can change it one year later, but it is not encouraged to transfer at all just because you don’t like the requirements. This question has been asked many times, so if you would like a better explanation, please refer to the previous posts.

Thanks for the reply! I guess i shouldn’t shouldn’t judge it before I try it! Is it easy to manage the GE’s and your major?

I sent a letter a few weeks ago explaining a mistake I put on my academic history, is there a way to tell if they got the letter and made the correction? I don’t really expect any kind of confirmation I guess but at the same time I wanted to know if there was a way to know if they got it. Don’t want to send in the transcript and have it not match up because they never got my letter
