It's hard to find highschoolers that are into Radiohead. I love them, but it is rather dissatisfactory to not share the love with anyone around me age. If you love Radiohead, let's talk!

bump… 10char

Hi, couldn’t believe nobody had replied to this post when I first saw it! Thought there would be a substantial following to what are probably the greatest groups in the world since The Beatles. So did you like King of Limbs and their From the Basement webcast? What era of theirs (pre-Kid A or…well, post Kid-A) do you prefer? I’m really looking forward to any new material, and have even tolerated my hatred for remixes to enjoy theirs (though i thought only Lotus Flower one was pretty impressive). Btw, I’m Ankit, I live in Mumbai, India and study in the 12th grade. What about you?

Pre-Kid A all the way. The bends and ok computer is where it’s at, the newer stuff as no edge to it and is incredibly overrated.

Hey, guys! Sorry I haven’t replied in a while. I didn’t even know anyone replied to it until I was browsing my posted threads I think I’m part of the small minority of people who actually thoroughly enjoyed King of Limbs. It was iffy to me at first, but it grew on me slowly, and I’ve realized how much emotion is in the album. It reminds of me old Radiohead. On the note of fav. Radiohead albums, OK Computer is number one, no doubt Kid A comes number 2, and Hail To The Thief is number 3 on my list.

My best friend is a radiohead fanatic (10,000 plays on last.fm, a tumblr dedicated to Thom Yorke) and while I like them too, I think they’re a little overrated. I’d definitely still consider myself a fan, though. In my opinion, Hail To The Thief was their best, followed by In Rainbows. TKOL was good too, but a little disappointing for me.

Have any of you guys seen the newest Radiohead session from “Live From The Basement”?

It’s seriously worth watching the whole hour if you have the time: [Dailymotion - Radiohead - Live From the Basement 2011 - a Music video](http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xjuc5t_radiohead-live-from-the-basement-2011_music#from=embediframe)

The only logical reasons for someone disliking Radiohead are never having heard of them or a misplaced rebellion against their popularity.

Or they just don’t have as good of taste in music as I do. Whichever.

Another video completely worth watching: [[DVD] Radiohead - From The Basement 2008 [Full Show] - YouTube](<a href=“[DVD] Radiohead - From The Basement 2008 [Full Show] - YouTube”>[DVD] Radiohead - From The Basement 2008 [Full Show] - YouTube)

Everything from The Bends to In Rainbows has been more or less fantastic (excluding the 2+2=5 EP). Probably one of the most consistently-brilliant pop groups around.

^ You didn’t like The King of Limbs?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but their music doesn’t seem to have melodies that are easy to remember.

Not a “fan” per se, but I do live and own the song “Nice Dream”

-------------------------------------------If it is to be, it is up to me…

Their performance on The Colbert Report was more epic than any other in the past year, and I think that if they were previously unheard of to me, I would want to hear more of what I had just witnessed on the show.

Kid A and OK Computer were amazing, but I don’t like any of their other albums…

Radiohead is god damn fantastic.

<3 OK Computer

Rumors are going around suggesting that Radiohead will be playing at Coachella and Lollapalooza in 2012. Being a Chicagoan, that really excites me.

I’m not exactly a hardcore fan but I’ve listened to a song or two and I like it.

They are my favorite band
and I’m gonna see them in concert next year!! dies of excitement

Lol I’m surprised there aren’t more hardcore fans out there on cc though
