Any seniors are undecided of which college to attend???

Gosh! I just got rejected from my first choice of college which was CSU Long Beach. Now, I'm so stuck between two colleges. I want to attend Woodbury University or Otis College of art and design. I want to major in graphic design and Otis college would be a better choice for my major and yet it does not offer much clubs/activities and no sports at all because its an art school. I want to be involve on campus during college so, I can interact with other people and make more friends. It will be kinda boring to just focus primarily on your major w/no other clubs or activities. However, Woodbury University is not AS GOOD for graphic design majors, but they offer tons of activities/clubs/sports which is what I want. I have not visited either college. I really don't know which college to attend! Any advice/suggestions you can offer me? Anyone in the same position as I am?!?!

I am not undecided
I am surely confident on what I want to do

I did apply to CSULB
I haven’t received any news of them, how did u find out?

CSULB had to cut back A LOT this year… a lot of kids from my school who would normally be accepted (1400-1600 SAT, 3.0-3.4gpas) were turned down. The other half of the kids still waiting for their decisions are pretty nervous. It’s pretty unfortunate.

About Otis, I have heard from word of mouth that it is not that great. I have also heard that most people head to LMU for any kind of college party/social scene. I know two guys that actually decided not to attend Otis after being accepted and choosing to go to Santa Monica College and El Camino College respectively. Both would be HUGE savings and both guys are very happy with their programs. Definitely make time to visit both schools and talk with the students, since this can be one of the most helpful ways to scope which is right for you. Good luck!

Would I be consider safe if I have a high GPA?

Yeah, I bet most State schools will have a tougher time cutting because their funding is more based on their states government.

That is truly unfortunate.
