Any seniors who don't have cars?

I haven't ever ridden on a school bus... I know, kind of odd, but all the kids in our court go to a different HS from the one we are zoned for so there are no busses for us. Then in elem and middle school I went to private school so I was either driven or I walked.

Where I live now, it's not rural but there isn't really anything you'd want to go to for quite a distance so not having a car means you stay at home. No bus service and it'd take you hours to ride your bike anywhere(and I don't think you're allowed to ride a bike on state highways) Luckly, most kids have cars so if one doesn't s/he is well taken care of. I do have a car but because I am younger then most in my grade, I was carless for a year when all my friends were out driving.

I don't have a car ... yet, but I will soon!

As far as transportation, I get pickups, walk home, take cabs (rarely, but I do use cabs often to go places like.. restaurants and such.. went to the movies today with a friend).. and public transportation ala MTA = Metro.

One of the perks living in Los Angeles.

I don't have a license, and we don't have public transportation, so I usually get a ride or do nothing at all.

My brother drove my family's one car into a ditch 3 weeks ago and it has yet to be fixed. So, in the sub-zero weather, I am stuck walking everywhere.

bah i'm such a loser.

Senior. No car. No license. Mommy drives me. Sad.

its saturday, everyone else is at the senior ball and i'm playing solitaire. sucks to be them!! HA HA HA AH

hey my mom drives me to school too! dont be ashamed at least you dont have to pay 20+ a week for gas $$$.

yeah cause i could be using that money for smoking pot lol

joking.

I have a Metrocard.

i have my license and a car, but i almost never use it. i just don't like to drive. i think it's scary...

I have my license and a car. My sister and I share the car though. It's fine though because we're ALWAYS together (we're twins). School is about a half hour drive away (without traffic) and living in LA a car is absolutley necessary esp. for us. Before I got my license, I had to wait for my mom to pick me up from school. I'd have to wait sometimes till like 7 o'clock. It was a real pain. I think my mom was happier than I was when my sister and I got our license, she immediately bought us a car and sent us on our way!

I live in a city. I take the subway--and so does everyone I know. Maybe two or three of my friends have bothered to get their licenses, and not a one of them actually has a car. It's always weird for me to hear about people my age driving; in my mind, driving is something your parents do.

Yeah, I got a car before I got my license actually. It's a POS, doesn't like to start, leaks oil, has a 5 tone paint job, and the front bumper is falling off. If I lived in a bigger city I would prefer to not have a car, but our city trans. is terrible, and my parents have jobs that require a lot of driving, and being in different cities a lot of times so I need my own car to get around.
