I would love to be admitted into to Johns Hopkins and I'm interested in a Biology major. I plan on taking the English, Calculus, and Biology AP Exams this year. I will also take the Spanish SAT Subject Test. So that covers English, math, a foreign language, and science (I suck at History lol). Should I also take the Bio Subject Test to emphasize my interest and intelligence in Biology? I know that I can score high. Do you think it will increase my chances of getting in or are 2 Biology exams just redundant?

No, actually taking both the AP Exam and the SAT II in a subject is a common strategy. In fact, it is actually advisable to do so.

I thought everybody did this? Why would you take any SATII test (besides math) if you aren’t enrolled in a similar class? It’s basically asking for a lower score, even if you did self-study it.
