I was flipping through my rejection letter, deciding what i should do with them; hang them, frame them, make a scrap book… and I noticed how they even spelt “director” wrong on the rejection letter. It was “dirctor”. Really shows us how much they care about us rejectees! *sniff sniff.

Can you post the letter?

Down with STANFORD!!!! I'm just another bitter Stanford rejectee.... Go Bears! We're going to keep crushing Stanford in the next four years! HAR HAR HAR!!!!

disclaimer: I am not a UC Berkeley student nor will I be attending UCB next year..

Another Stanford reject here. I'm very proud of my letter, and I think I need to frame it =)

Geez, that's careless of them to mispell a word on your letter. I'm not a reject but I still think that they ought to have taken care with the rejection letters - after all they're only writing one and then making thousands of copies.

Solution: send a thank you letter to Stanfurd Univercity.

haha i should do that, except they might just throw it away.

anyhow, ill try to scan the letter when i get a chance.

the bottom was like

With best wishes,

Anna Marie Porras
Dirctor of Admission

Enclosure

we should write a letter to complain!
i got a rejection letter too!
how dare them treat us this way! we paid as much application fees as the acceptees!!!what gives?

they didnt even bother with spell check

you should complain...i just want to see what they write back

? My rejection letter had 'director'...did they send out different versions or something?

HAHA mine's dirctor
ahhhhh the irony..
That's a good idea, I think i'll make a scrap book out of my HPSM rejection letter, P being pennsylvania of course.

maybe we were the first rejectee batch; they decided they were going to reject us in jan, or feb, and prepared our rejection letter, all stamped and ready and unspellchecked because we were so "unuptopar"

and then they had another batch in march for the "maybes" that ended up rejected

I got rejected after being deferred. Stanford was my dream and I really thought I had a chance too. I wish they had just rejected me back in December so I didn't have to agonizingly wait for the letter for another 3 1/2 whole months. And yes I'm bitter (esp. since a classmate of mine applied there RD on a whim and got in), but life goes on.

all of these posts are scaring me. stanford is my dream school too, but i have to wait and worry for two more years... oh, the pain.

Stanford was never really my dream school. But I'm a stanford reject AND im going to Berkeley.

Seriously, giving someone a typo filled letter is uncalled for. That should never happen.

hahaha stanford...I got rejectd too...bunch of snooty idiots....
stanford can just choke on a bone for all I care and as for the rejection letter I'll frame it too

so u guys are rejected

what schools are u going to then?

i was rejected... so i will be attending Harvard or Yale(where all the Stanford rejects go.)

Rejected, going to UCLA because it just makes sense.
