Next year, when I become Junior, I will be taking four AP Classes:
AP Stat
AP Chem
AP Lang
AP US

I am definitely self-motivated person and I expect to excel in those classes.
SO, any suggestions in studying those AP? Which prep books are good for each AP?
Which of these AP test are easier or harder than the others?

AP Lang - There’s really no studying for this exam. I mean, you can try, but everyone that I know who took it didn’t really study. The most you can do is take those sample exams in class (if your teacher gives them) and work on your writing and comprehensive skills throughout the year. No memorization involved, only acquired skill. I’d say (of the three for which I can speak for) that this exam is the easiest.

AP US - Buy the AMSCO book. It was a lifesaver for me last year. I read it from cover to cover in preparation for the exam, and it helped a lot. It’s like a condensed form of any APUSH book with all the important information, but without the fluff, pictures, or author subjectivity. Get some flash cards and quiz yourself or work with a few classmates. Definitely review some of the major topics of DBQ that often come up (your teacher will probably know which ones are common). I know that some of my friends from another school predict which questions come up every year, and they’re often right, so maybe you can find out more about that.

AP Chem - In my opinion, this exam was the most difficult of the three. It might just be me, but I know that the curve for this exam is ridiculous. I remember something like they expect you to only be able to get 33% of the multiple choice. Or something. I used Princeton Review for this exam (only because my sister had it from her year), but a lot of my friends said that Barron’s is really great. Besides getting some flashcards for the multiple choice parts, I really don’t have much advice for this exam, since I did the worst on this one.

That’s almost the same schedule that I have this year. Stat and Lang are not necessary to study for. AP US won’t be terrible, assuming you’ve had other history courses. Lang helps with APUSH essays.

The AMSCO is really good advice.

Only concern is chem. Easily the hardest of the four. Doable in the schedule, but I have not taken this one yet.

Have you taken AP Calc yet? That would be better than AP Stat as a junior, IMO. Even though it is a lot tougher, Calc is much more useful in other areas than AP Stats is.

Well, I’m planning to take AP Calc next year, as a Senior.
Over all, thank you for your advices!!!
