I am visiting Wake for the first time, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or reccomendations of things to-do, things not-to-miss, things that I should look into, things that I should steer clear of when I am on campus, etc. Anything that anyone can tell me would be a tremdous help.
I appreciate it.

As an alum and parent of a potential student, I know the area pretty well. You need to check out Reynolda Village and walk through Reynolda Gardens/Mansion...all walking distance from campus (bring good walking shoes). Old Salem is pretty neat as well....the area around Salem College is very "Williamsburg". ESPN's analysts like going to Little Richards Barbeque when in town for Basketball coverage. As a college town, not a whole lot besides the typical malls, theatres, etc.
There is the NC School of the Arts as well that provides some additional cultural events. Enjoy. Campus is one of the prettiest in the country.
